Eligibility
Issued to foreign nationals engaging in unpaid work with registered South African non-profit organisations (NPOs).
Conditions
- May enter on a Visitor Visa (if visa-exempt)
- Must apply in-country with a formal letter of appointment
Validity
- Issued for a period of up to 2 years, not renewable beyond this period
DHS ensures timely applications and proper validation of NGO registration and sponsorship.
